The Ahadith on Hospitality towards the Guest

The reader holds in his hands one of the earliest and most explicit texts to cover the topic of suluk, namely the righteous actions that come from the one who is perfecting his Ihsan, also known as Tasawwuf. The author, Imam Abu Bakr Al-Hanbali Al-Qadiri, one of the great scholars of his age and Revivers of the Religion, chose to cover the topic of suluk and in particular the aspect that pertains to the treatment of others in a social setting.

This methodology is crucial and acts as an evidence of the inner state of one's ihsan and also an indicator of one's due care for others.
