This manifesto is for anyone who has ever felt the need to do something and believed what they had to offer, what they could do---make something---wasn't enough. The Artivist says, It's enough. You're enough. Go make your art and change the world. An Artivist is someone who uses their art and/or expression as a vehicle and tool for societal, political, systemic, personal, global, and macro/micro change. This is how The Artivist is born: out of necessity, out of our own experiences, out of the need to do something with our stored-up energy, anger, frustration, and heartbreak, and out of the connective medicine of sharing. The Artivist will guide you back to your personal agency, creative power, and the inherent resistance that lives in your self-expression.
