The Auctioneer

Boady is an auctioneer, and a damned good one at that. Because when Boady auctions off an item, it's not just some random antique, or chachki, or painting on the auction block; no, Boady believes he is auctioning off a piece of history. Ever since Boady, born Beauregard Dean Foresight, could remember he had a strange ability. Some would call it a gift, at times he considered it a curse... but good or bad, like it or not, for Boady history literally comes to life. He could touch or hold or pick up certain items, and he was transported back into the life of the owner. Was he really there? Or is it all in his mind? He may never know. But as Boady travels, he not only unravels the mystery of these antiques, but he finds he is unraveling his own personal mystery, as well.
