In the theater, ballerina Gabrielle Valera moves across the stage like a beautiful butterfly in a spring garden—weightless and graceful with flawless technique and exquisite artistry. When Gabi encounters handsome Derek Conner, a wealthy ER physician, sparks fly. While neither believes a romantic  relationship is in the master plan, the power of attraction jeopardizes the personal agenda of each.

Derek discovers feelings for the dancer he never believed existed. To Gabi’s dismay, desire like she’s never known is awakened, yet she cannot commit to Derek, nor explain why.
