The Battle of Mogori

This collection contains six exciting stories drawn from the traditions of the Kipsigis of Kericho District. In them, we learn of the great love they have for their animals, including cattle and dogs. We are moved by acts of kindness as much as we are horrified by acts of meanness and deception. We learn to value the wisdom of the elders, to discern true friendship, to get even with our tormentors, and reward faithfulness. The moral lessons are carried in the simple easy flowing style of a good traditional storyteller.
