It's the not-too-distant future in the American west, and sadly, things are going about the way we were warned they would go if we didn't clean up our act. It's a race for the future of the planet, and the only way forward is to trust the science. Can we still save our environment? Does anyone even know what that means, even after a hundred years of Earth Days? This book is packed with with wild horses, (since it is an real western by a western writer), as well as many other authentic and manufactured American animals and the people who care about them. They will all still be with us in the future because of the tireless work of the eco-warriors, who have never stopped caring, even in the face of just about everything.
