Joe White is a retired small businessman who grew up on the outskirts of Chattanooga Tennessee. His life story is told with the backdrop of Christmas as the mile marker of experience in The Best Christmas Ever!
Through his eyes, we see the simple story of Southern family life as well as the complex reality of relationships we grow to cherish throughout our lives.
Joe is married to Linda Friel White and they have two children and six grandchildren. Joe and Linda are living their retirement years in Prosperity South Carolina, where the wide open
spaces, the waters of Lake Murray and the forests that surround their home nurture the rich memories Joe has so eloquently yet simply given us in this book.
Joe is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and he and Linda occasionally return there to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains as well as the UT Volunteers. Always a dreamer, planner and provider, Joe believes that a willing mind and tender heart can accomplish "the impossible." He sets the goals high and celebrates his achievement of those goals. Joe doesn't rest on his laurels, however. Instead, Joe begins the next "adventure" as he
enthusiastically embraces life.
So, don't be surprised if this is only the first book of many Joe has up his sleeve, in his head, on his heart and written on those beloved yellow legal pads he keeps right beside his recliner.
