Tessa and her BFFL move across the country together to be closer to Tessa's cousin Sylvia. They find a great apartment and new jobs and the excitement is tangible.

But Sylvia has been missing for three weeks now and Tessa is at a loss.

They take it one day at a time, and then Sylvia's back! Except… something is not quite right about her. She's quit the job she loves and has no interest in anything anymore.

So Tessa decides to get to the bottom of it. Starting with all these similar missing people stories. As long as she doesn't draw attention to herself, it should be fine, right?
