Sir Francis Dashwood, founder of the Order of the Friars of St. Francis of Wycombe, one of the infamous Hellfire Clubs of the 18th century, officiated over his own Black Mass. The club motto, Fais ce que tu voudras ("Do what thou wilt") has inspired Satanists of 20th Century, Aleister Crowley and Anton LeVey. The Black Mass practiced in these London gentlemen’s clubs, in grand and majestic mockery of the Roman Rite of the Tridentine Mass, has been passed down through the centuries to Pariah Crucifiegus and the ChiXiStigma.org.
