The Book of Saints

Be warned, the knowledge given in this manuscript cannot be unlearnt. After vandalising an elderly womans house and receiving a Criminal Behaviour Order, Tabitha is given a second chance. Through this second chance she meets Marguerite and acquires a mysterious document. The document is said to have been dictated by Tavia, a long dead nun from the 2nd Century, and charts her perilous journey through Britannia. Sent by Pope Eleutherius and accompanied by Fagan and Deruvian their primary mission is to Baptise the eccentric and enthusiastic King Lucius II. When Tabitha tries to work out the origin and importance of the document her life begins to mirror the content. As her story unfolds so too does Tavias extraordinary expedition embellished with footnotes from 1952. It is through these footnotes Tabitha learns how Marguerites own life became entwined with the ominous manuscript. By the end they may find themselves in the arms of angels or quite as easily shaking hands with a devil.
