The Broken Turtle

Mark Hunter LaVigne, best-selling author of The Broken Ukulele, returns with another tale of adventure in Ontario's Algonquin Park. Mark, best friend Larry, and a troup of family members embark on a canoe trip in search of the spirit of famous painter Tom Thomson -- not to mention his ghost -- and a "broken" turtle first encountered on a canoe trip many years earlier. Along the way they encounter wind, rain, and lightning, leeches, earworms, the aforementioned turtle, and many memories of canoe trips past.
