Officer Marcus Palmer has been chasing his mother's killer for over a decade. He and the police department have not come any closer to catching the murderer-the man dubbed The Butterfly Killer.

Until now.

But when the recent murders start to diverge from the original six ten years ago, Marcus starts to suspect a copycat is behind it. His theory leads him closer to the copy cat than he ever wanted and now held captive by the killer, he must find a way to survive no matter what it takes.
