The Cambrian Rod

Inspired by the United Nations sustainable development goals for peace, pollution, poverty, and hunger, six university professors decide to take action to help make the world a better place. Their altruistic efforts serendipitously lead to discovering an amazing ancient artifact buried in the five-hundred million year old shale deposits of the Canadian Rockies. As they realize the uses of their alien artifact none of them are prepared for what they will soon appreciate as indisputable.
