The Canaanite Cultic Milieu

The author presents a report on Canaanite animal husbandry practices, diet, butchery methods, and animal sacrificial rituals. This information comes primarily from faunal remains that were retrieved from Middle Bronze IIB/C (1800/1750-1550 B.C.) strata at the site of Tel Haror, 20 km northwest of Beer Sheva in Israel.
