Shirley Mae Suedkamp was born and raised in South Dakota. She graduated with a BA in Education. She and her husband, Dick, now call Denver, Colorado home. They have two children who are both married. They have four grandchildren who Shirley has told magical bedtime stories for years now. She did her first writing in 7th grade and now is publishing books as so many of her friends have encouraged her to do so. She loves her Lord and desires to bring families into his saving grace through these stories that He has given her.

Maxine Sorensen Bergh is Shirley's sister. She resides in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Minn. She has her husband George and four married children. They have twelve grandchildren. Maxine has been drawing and painting from her early years of life. She teaches water color painting as well as oil painting. She loves doing portraits and still life paintings. Her scenic paintings decorate her home and Shirley's as well. Maxine loves her Lord and says "Our Father Whose Art is in Heaven." She shares her talent with so many and is a real blessing to Shirley.

This book is dedicated to our four grandchildren; Joshua, Megan, Colby, Brody.
