The Chronicles of the Black Queen: Book II

The Children of Aleric had won their kingdom. But now they struggle to keep it, as murder, betrayal, and death stalk the halls of the Wyburn seat. An ancient evil has returned, imbued with new life and intent on destruction. To combat this menace, the Black Queen is forced to seek help from loyal friends and a sworn enemy.

In that mansion of darkness and mystery, Zarya, Adraste, and Sabina seek to resurrect their father. The Black Queen is determined to produce the ideal heir to her throne, and gather round her those of the family who have been lost, as she and her sisters once were. The three find that these desires can only be achieved at great risk, and the costs are dear.

Seeing her plans come only to ruin, the Black Queen is faced with the threat that she may destroy her kingdom or lose it.
