He captures succinctly how secular governments marginalised and disregarded the Church in relegating it to the level of a social event, with regulations more stringent than even that relating to the taxi industry. He places fair blame on the church for capitulating and cowering to the powers that be, never raising their voice. The impact on the rural and township church is eye-opening - This reaffirms the reality that we are deeply unaware, not only of the critical role that the church plays within  disadvantaged communities, but the devastating impact the regulations have had on those vital spiritual communities.
