The Clairvoyant

José Ortega, a young Spanish journalist, is posted to Berlin in March 1932 to report on the turbulent political scene during the dying days of the Weimar Republic. He meets one of the greatest stars of the 1930s Berlin entertainment world, Eric Jan Hanussen, a stage clairvoyant, who takes him under his wing.

After predicting that Hitler would become Chancellor of Germany, at a time when the very prospect seemed laughable, Hanussen becomes increasingly embroiled with senior members the Nazi party. But there is a secret he is keeping close to his chest, a secret that could put his reputation and even his life on the line ...
