with many other adventures still untold - but it is enough to show that the colour of
all human hearts is love.

This is a true love story about the profound transformational effect the island and culture
of Jamaica had on Deniz, a young, impulsive, white, Englishman, born in the late
1940's in rural Derbyshire. In his own words, Deniz tells the story of how his plans
to live, love and learn in London in the early 1970s are suddenly and irrevocably
changed.

Immersed in a new culture on the other side of the Atlantic, the challenges he faces,
people he meets and exciting adventures he has, enable him to find his true calling,
identity and unexpected love. Deniz's impulsiveness leads to many dramatic,
humorous, moving and, at times, terrifying episodes, which make the book a real
page-turner.

This book also recounts his spiritual and musical awakening, including the most
memorable experiences of Sonic Salvation Gospel Band, which he founded and led
for over a decade. The 35 original gospel songs from their 3 albums are still
broadcast today.
