The Confessions of a Mormon Stripper

In January of 2005, author Keri Ann Vance had been stripping for years. She was doing things she'd never normally do for money because she was stuck in a cycle of self-abuse and was so desperate to drink alcohol. She knew it was just a matter of time before something terrible happened, and it inevitably did.

In The Confessions of a Mormon Stripper, Vance shares her story, telling of a Mormon woman from Utah, an awkward, redhead, finding her way with only her daughters and her connection to the divine as company. Chemically dependent at a young age, she found herself in recovery as she tried to quit her work as a stripper in Las Vegas.

Vance narrates how her faith in a higher power manifested, enabling her to escape the sex industry and an abusive relationship to enjoy a life she never dreamed possible.
