Yesterday Shane was a carefree Southern California surfer. Now he's a vampire.

And not just any vampire. He's the one from the Dark Prophecy - a tale as old as Vlad the Impaler himself-- that says the most powerful vampire of all will unite the warring tribes of vampires and rule them all. And every tribe wants him.

But Shane is just Shane. He's no one special, is he?

When Shane begins to exhibit the powers from the prophecy, even the betrayer (who's been giving information to a nearby coven of witches in exchange for potions) will have to face that Shane just might make the Dark Prophecy come true. But the betrayer has been setting everything up to make people believe he's the one from the prophecy. And he's dragged the witches in now too.

Shane will have to face who he is if he has any chance of stopping the betrayer, the witches, and uniting all the vampires. So now the only question is... is he really the one from the Dark Prophecy?
