The Day I Met Walt is based on a true story about a four year old little girl, named Aleesa, who got in trouble for not telling the truth but learned a life-changing lesson from that one mistake.  She immediately went to JESUS for comfort.  And not only did HE comfort, HE forgave, and continues to show HIS love and remarkable grace.  Through this lesson of repentance, GOD gave her a gift, a new family friend, and restored hope and joy in the heart of a burdened soul.  By empowering Aleesa to write this book, JESUS is continuing to bless many others through the retelling of this simple but remarkable story!
