The Day They Took My Son

Displeased with their portrayal of her son, Temika Harden pens her own personal account of what happened that day, the investigation following her son's murder, and her own feelings about losing her child.

In a testament to the gut-wrenching wakeup call many parents and loved ones must face in the wake of gun violence, this book also brings the stories of three other mothers who lost their children to gun violence: Ricky Julious, gunned down in broad daylight on March 22nd, 2017, as well as Tra'Mon Matthews on April 5th, 2017, and Adoniyah Pruitt on November 17th, 2017, both shot and killed by their cousins in two different states on two different occasions.
