In the speculative “One More Time,” “Copy That,” and “Grand Mal,” the human side of technological innovation is maintained alongside a world altered beyond recognition. And in the title story a group of astronauts on Mars receive an unexpected visitor capable of ensuring either their salvation or destruction.
