The Dimensional Rift

In the year 2043, and the Earth's ocean levels have risen to swallow a third of the world's landmass. As a result, with a population of over twelve billion people, Earth has embarked on a journey to the red planet known as Mars for the first time to start a colony. Once on the surface, they discover what appears to be an American minivan that looks as though it has recently crashed and may have survivors inside. The investigation into this remarkable vehicle reveals far more than any of them are ready for, leaving some in shock and the rest demanding answers. The only occupant that can give them answers happens to be a strange-looking alien creature. Now, she has to tell her story, rescue her friends, and save tens of thousands of others like her trapped on Earth in the hands of the many different governments. As this alien creature tries to resolve the issues with those who look like it, having been imprisoned and tortured, actual aliens arrive and offer to help train our hero in her powers. However, while this hero is off on this journey of training, a war breaks out on Earth that our hero is helpless to do anything about. Upon returning home, she must help, putting things right before it is too late. The war was so devastating that Earth may not survive if nothing is done.
