Beloved, God will do nothing for you except by prayer. There is nothing that is too small to take to God in prayer, neither is there anything too big to ask of Him in prayer. With prayer there is nothing God cannot do. The altar is the place of sacrifice, the place of surrender, commitment and empowerment. Jesus has given you a blank check when he said "If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it (John 14:14)." The problem according to James 4:2 is that in spite of all your efforts and desires you have not because you ask not. You have not received because you have not asked in prayer.
