The Eighth Day

Throughout life we all experience transitions, however, the Eighth Day will be the upmost. This book is a biblical perspective on life-after-death. It is written to address the fear so many experience at the thought of leaving the physical body in what Reverend Alyce Spells Kelly has named The Eighth Day. The number eight is a special number. Widely known to represent "new beginning," it also symbolizes "new life" or "resurrection."


Having ministered to the sick and dying, walked with their families, and officiated funerals during her tenure as pastor, Reverend Alyce Spells Kelly is familiar with a lack of readiness experienced by many regarding not just the emotional and spiritual, but also practical matters before death. Retired from pastoral ministry in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 2014 The Reverend Alyce Spells Kelly remains involved in Church and society as conference speaker, preacher, teacher, writer, and prophetic voice. She is a dynamic speaker and writer with authenticity that allows her to walk with others in their sacred spaces. The Eighth Day is her second book.
