The Essential Chogyam Trungpa

Trungpa was one of the most influential figures in the development of Buddhism in America. He was the first Tibetan lama to teach in English, and originated famous slogans such as "Crazy Wisdom", "cutting through spiritual materialism", and his pupil Allen Ginsberg's favourite, "First Thought, Best Thought". Drawing from the 24 books he published, this selection offers a concise and comprehensive overview of his teachings. There are 40 different selections in all, articulating the secular path of the Shambhala warrior as well as the Buddhist path of meditation and awakening.
