The Extended Curriculum

To effectively meet the learning needs of young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, programmes are required which extend beyond the typical school or college day, both in time and content. This text provides a practical guide to help the reader develop, deliver and monitor an extended curriculum to help meet these student's needs. It should be useful to providers of residential education at both school and further education levels, and should also support those who wish to develop extended learning in a day setting.
