The Eye of Verishten

The mountain ranges of Ingleheim are shrouded in volcanic ashfall and home to thousands of golems and the Mages who control them. It is Katja’s passion to study these stone behemoths and uncover their ancient secrets. But when the last Golem Mage and Fuhrer of Ingleheim, orders her to help him awaken the Golem of Death, she realizes the full extent of the regime’s tyrannical desires. 

In her quest to undermine the project, Katja must team up with a member of the Regime's killing elite, a nameless and faceless soldier, trained in the ruthless discipline of Steinkamp—A man who lives by the chilling mantra of “To fight means to kill; to kill is mercy.”

The pair’s challenge is great, but their most trying task is learning how to trust each other in a world where both man and golem are used as tools for the advancement of the powerful.
