The Fable of Phaeton

A retelling of the ancient Greek myth of Phaeton by the Roman poet Ovid. The story follows Phaeton, the son of the sun god Helios, as he attempts to drive his father's chariot across the sky. The retelling is accompanied by illustrations and annotations by Elizabeth Pipe Wolferstan, a 19th century translator and scholar of classical literature.
