The Finest Gifts

The Finest Gifts is a beautifully illustrated, poetic adaptation of the traditional Christmas story, except that it is written from the perspective of those that traveled to the manger to see the baby Jesus.  Among those traveling is an impoverished old woman who is bullied along the journey for not bringing a gift.  Having not spoken throughout the journey, all are silenced when she finally arrives at the stable and shares her message with the world.
