The First Cut

Mac seems to have it all: he's good-looking, confident, happy-go-lucky, solvent, and even has his own business in London. 

His girlfriends that come and go, lots of them - and that's the problem. He can't find love - or rather he is unwilling to allow himself to fall in love. For Mac, for all his outward charm, is damaged goods. He is a man emotionally scarred by a cut so deep, so severe, that he shields himself from love. 

And he's happy with that. Mac's doing just fine.

That is until the day Alice walks into his life...
