The First Match

The First Match is the first book in Set B of Sam's Football Stories. There are two sets, each containing six books. Sam is football crazy. Everybody says so. Now that Eddie Ford has agreed to help Sam and his friends, they have arranged a friendly match against Parton Rovers. Sam and Danny have made the team and can hardly wait, but Sam has practised so much that he can't play well anymore. What is he going to do? Join in the fun with Sam, his friends and Eddie in their bid to overcome the problems that come their way.
