The Flower Girls

War rips peoples lives apart. In 1939 Violet leaves her life of poverty, grime and all she knows in the East End of London for the relative safety of the Surrey countryside and Roses home. Not a safe enough home for the spoilt Rose whose father sends her to New York to keep her safe as the fear of war becomes a reality. Can Violets new life become Roses old life? What if Rose wants it back? Neither girl is safe and neither wants the other in their life, but it could be all they have.
