Christmas is a wonderful time of the year. It seems to bring out the best in people of all ages and families do special things together that create lasting memories. Emily and Jimmy waited for the day when they could take their yearly trip to the tree farm and choose their Christmas tree. The days seemed to be creeping by oh so slowly until a winter snowstorm closed the schools and businesses in their town. Now as soon as the roads were safe, the family could plan their trip. Daddy was home from work and so as soon as the roads were safe to travel, the Barnable family climbed into their car and off they went.
