Flic is on a mission to clean up the tarnished seaside paradise of Whitstable

She was once just a moody tri-colour calico cat living in London with her human Ben Johns, a DI with the Met. But when he was brutally shot down by the notoriously arty Kincaid gang she suddenly found herself re-homed in Whitstable. Now she's brought her crime-busting instincts to the not-so-sleepy coastal Babylon she contemptuously dubs Whelkville. 

With the help of muscle-bound Bengal Lucifurr and brain-box tabby Ross, she embarks on a surreal odyssey through the town's bizarre crime scene. These include a distasteful Down-From-London foodie scene murder, a criminal encounter with Situationist philosophy and an allotment killing with Scandi overtones. And she won't stop pouncing on villains until justice for Ben is finally done.
