The Gospel According to ST. JOHN

This keepsake hard cover edition of The Gospel According to St. Luke was taken from the King James translation of the Bible. The King James Translation is a masterwork of style, and the most important book in the English language, it  has been the driving force in shaping the English-speaking world for hundreds of years.

The Gospel According to St. John informs readers of the true identity of Jesus. It tells the story of how Jesus came to the Jews and was rejected by them. It describes his baptism, how he calls his disciples to himself, his performing miracles, and how he begins his earthly ministry and his message about God the Father offering eternal life to all who will believe. Jesus then prepares his disciples for their coming lives without his physical presence, and prays for them and for himself. And the book closes with Jesus’ post-resurrection appearance to his disciples in Galilee, the miraculous catch of fish, the prophecy of the crucifixion of Peter, the restoration of Peter, and the fate of his Beloved Disciple.
