The Green Wave is a Steampunk story of action, adventure and mystery set in Australia in the convict era.

Yearning for freedom within the constraints of Victorian society and a tightly-laced corset, Rosalyn Flynn endeavours to conform to the teachings of her Church—The Church of the Sun Cog.

Sent as a Missionary by the Church to the Australian colonial frontier, Rosalyn finds herself entangled in a mysterious quest. As she flies her airship deeper into the outback her goal of bringing Enlightenment to the heathens slips further from her grasp. Her view of the world—and herself—is challenged by events and by her companions.

Mature readers with a love of individuality and personal freedom, and who have a liking for strong female characters, will find the story engaging. Touching on themes of anti-authoritarianism, colonialism, sexuality and class, The Green Wave puts the 'punk' into this Australian steampunk tale.
