Translation of books I-III, with facsimiles of original t.p. and colophon, of the author's: Del origen y milagros de la santa imagen de Nuestra Seora de Candelaria, que aparecio en la isla de Tenerife, con la descripcion de esta isla ... Sevilla, 1594. The fourth book, containing a list of sixty-five miracles, is omitted. Also includes: 'Remnants of the Guanche language' : p. xx-xxvi.
