The Higgledy-Piggledy Pigeon

What happens when a homing pigeon finds out he has no sense of direction? How will he ever pass flight school?The story is about a young homing pigeon that begins his first day of flight school and soon discovers that he has a poor sense of direction. After getting lost on his first assignment and having to ask directions to find his way back to class, he becomes very disheartened and wants to quit.His teacher quickly recognizes that the young pigeon has a learning challenge. She shows him how he can compensate for it and helps him see that despite his learning difficulty, he can excel in whatever he puts his mind to.Our young pigeon learns that whatever the learning difficultly may be, with the right kind of help and effort, anyone can succeed!
