The Image of Christian

The Image of Christian is a fable about fame, celebrity, and other illusions. Christian answers a "help wanted" ad on the Internet and gets more than the job he desperately needs. His new boss, Grace, owns bits and pieces of this and that all over the world.

Despite her success in it, she doesn't have much use for the "Information Age":

"This is an age of faith, just like any other. Data gets shaped and moulded by the prophets of this so-called Information Age to create the reality they choose. These are the New Dark Ages, Christian. Ignorance rules, as always."

Once upon a time the gods of Olympus walked the Earth, sometimes as themselves and sometimes in disguise. Humans knew better than to trust them and knew better than to believe they were who they seemed. That wisdom is largely lost in the world of The Image of Christian.
