The Inedible BLT

Learn a new and enteratining way to teach elementary school children about animanls, people, places, events, nature, and other fascinating facts. Bob Jagers - a retired engineer, World War II veteran, author, and longtime public school volunteer - created a unique technique that allows children to have fun and learn at the same time.

The Inedible BLT teaches children to use logic and problem solving skills to work out a word puzzle. When the puzzle is solved it becomes the subject for the BLT, (meaning "Bob's Lesson Today"). Interesting details about the BLT subject is presented to students. The combination of the problem solving and the discussion of facts make the BLT lesson truly memorable for the students.
