The Inheritance

Cynthia McKenna is an atractive, well-respected Senior Editor at a New York publishing firm. Raised by her widowed grandmother, she believes she has all she ever wished for. That is until she must go to the mountains of western North Carolina to inspect her inheritance, an estate founded by Lord Jeremy Maxwell, great grandfather from Scotland. The trip was only to decide on a price to sell the estate.

When she arrives in the town of High Glen and sees her ancestral home, she is confronted with emotions that she can't explain.

She meets John McCloud who is so different than what she is used to that she must face something more than the sale of her estate. So she must come to terms with her New York fince', her city values, John and the secret that shrouds her inheritance.

As she struggles with these decisions, she must also deal with a stalker on her property. A safe deposit box holds the key to all her questions. And she must wait a year to open the box.
