PURPOSE OF THE BOOK The book as we can see is meant to serve as an inspiration to the reader. It helps to understand among many things, certain basic truths about life. * The books helps the reader to gain encouragement and understatement no matter what they are passing through, no matter how bad their present situation may seem to be, it is never too late to turn things around. This can be vividly seen in the lives of each of the characters. For Mary, she threw her past behind her and was still able to get the best out of her life and also lend a helping hand to Benedict whose life was at the brink of destruction. Benedict on his own part was able to get his life back on track despite the trials and travails he faced which nearly turned him to a destitute. Grace too was able to mend her ways and return back to her family. Despite the problems they all faced which threatened several facets of their life at one point in their lives they were all able to stem their tides and get things back on track.
