The Killing of Billy the Kid

There are more questions than answers and here in this fictional setting of an inquest those questions are asked. However, the answers sometimes pose even more questions. Not all is clear in this case, but what is apparent now is that there was more to this than meets the eye. The corruption in New Mexico was endemic as illegal land grabs and trading monopolisation's consumed the territory. Why was the elimination of this previously unknown saddle tramp given such high priority? Why was there no evidence of his death, no photographs and why were they in such a hurry to bury the body? Did Pat Garrett shoot the wrong man? All these tantalising questions and more are raised and answered here in this fictitious event which is set around hard facts.
