The last of the Knights of the Round Table stand with King Arthur to face a final onslaught by Mordred LeFay's forces. The threat is deepened by a deadly alliance between the fallen knight of Camelot and the dark powers of the sorceress Morgana.

Throughout his greatest of quests, Arthur will reunite with old friends, and bring together a team of skilled and brave new allies, including the hooded archer of Sherwood! However, the forces of evil pursue them at every turn; stalked by a cursed brute, beset by strange monsters and creatures of dark magic, and haunted by a mysterious knight clad in crimson armour.

Shadows stir as mystic visions warn of the fate to befall the lands of Albion and beyond should Arthur and his new companions fail to save a long lost island, once thought to be merely legend ... the island kingdom of Avalon.
