The Labyrinth Walk

A spin-off of the beloved Roger and Bess Mysteries, The Labyrinth Walk is the first book in a new cozy series, The Mapletree Murder Club Mysteries. Set in the Leeside Folk Villages, an over fifty-five community, the oceanside area is home to a group of mature amateur sleuths. When a resident is murdered, their mystery book club decides to investigate. All retired, the seven group members have unique skills, talents and backgrounds-a former investigator for Homeland Security, doctor, librarian, and writers among them. Along with efforts to build a beautifully landscaped labyrinth on Leeside grounds, the would-be sleuths sometimes bumbling efforts tax the patience of Roger Demaris and his regional homicide team, RHD (central characters from the original series). RHD is brought in the assist local police and the groups eventually team up to track a ruthless killer.
