They call themselves the LadyKillers Liberation Army, and their mission is to take revenge against all womankind for denying them the sexual favors they regard as their right. For a year or so, they'd worked off their anger by posting bloody fantasies on the Dark Web. But with the approach of the mid-term election, they're recruited by a shadowy figure they call The Colonel. He arms them, trains them, dresses them up in black jumpsuits, and sends them forth in the late fall of 2018---the Year of the Woman in American politics. Their orders: assassinate one newly-elected congresswoman a week for daring to assert power over men.

They score their first kill on election night in the Bronx and their second, a week later, in Baltimore. Next on their hit list is Meridew Hadley, but this time, there's a catch: her husband is Max Christian, a case-hardened New York PI, and he takes the threat to his wife as a declaration of war. His counter-strategy is to track down and neutralize The Colonel. The problem is where to start looking.

Max is joined in the hunt by his buddy Nick Testa, an any-means-necessary PI known as The Closer, and Tina Falcone, his partner in his past as an NYPD homicide detective. They score some early successes, but the clock is ticking toward a showdown on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol. An alt-right rally, led by The Colonel, taunts the new congresswoman to show their faces. They emerge, dressed in suffragist white, and form a line on the Capitol steps. Atop a congressional office building, a million-dollar assassin-for-hire draws a bead on Meridew...

Kirkus Reviews called The LadyKillers War "sharp and focused...an exceptional series entry," and added, on their website, "OUR VERDICT: GET IT."
