The Lake Isle of Innisfree: The Song of Wandering Aengus

William Butler Yeats was romantic Irish poet. His poetry often dealt with his love of his country. This book contains two poems. The first poem is about the Isle of Innisfree, a place the poet spent summers. Even in the cities he can stop and take himself back to the peaceful spot from his youth where he longs to be. The second poem is about love - the poet searches for it, finds it then loses it. Years later, after a life of wandering, the poet again searches out his first love.
